Bob manages and directs all Food Tech, Inc. operations, as well as our facility planners, project managers, architects/engineers, construction managers, and safety team.
His food and beverage industry experience is extensive, and his attention to detail and strong communication skills has earned him an exceptional reputation with our clients and staff.
Bob strives to ensure that the Food Tech team provides our customers with the highest level of technical proficiency and service possible, while delivering projects on time and on budget. Smooth project close-out, including the timely and successful commissioning/qualification/verification of process equipment is one of his top priorities.
Bob brings more than 20 years of experience in facility design and construction for the food and beverage industry.
Having started his career as a Civil Engineer, he subsequently held titles of Project Manager and Vice President prior to being named our President in 2016. He joined Food Tech in 2003.
Bob’s depth of food and beverage industry expertise includes construction of highly-specialized process plants, cold storage, and office/support spaces; as well as systems such as freezing/cooling, industrial refrigeration, process utilities, material handling, and automated storage and retrieval.
He is an expert in food and beverage plant design that is compliant with the USDA, FDA, FSMA, HACCP and BRC protocols.
Bob earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Union College in Schenectady, NY, and holds Professional Engineering licensure in more than 35 states.
